Why exercising during pregnancy is a GOOD idea

There’s so many reasons to exercise while pregnant, and it’s not just for your own ‘fitness’ and ‘strength’. It’s for your baby’s short and long term health. 

Laura, our Taylored Community Manager, spoke to Alanah who is our Taylored Prenatal Exercise Specialist about the benefits that mothers and babies can receive from exercising (in the correct way) during pregnancy.

Improved Pelvic Floor & Deep Abdominal Strength

Exercise will minimises prenatal and postnatal complications, such as diastasis recti and light bladder leakage.
